How are you?
I hope, you are doing great. It’s been three years and you haven’t contacted me once. I know, leaving me, was totally your decision, a decision taken carefully, but like a fool (that I am), I waited for you just in a hope that one day, you would think about me and all those lovely memories, we created. Guess, I was wrong.
Anyway, I am sorry, I didn’t want to disturb you like this, but, I got to know about your wedding and was dying of curiosity.
I just want to know about you and him? How is he? Is he a good looking guy or a cute one? Or the muscular one?
Is he taller than me or the one who suits your height? Is he an IIT engineer or a UPSC aspirant or Doctor?
Apologies in advance, but, I want to know everything. How have you exactly felt, when you deleted my name like a corrupted file from your life and accepted him as your life partner? Were the both names written the same way on the wedding card as we had thought of ours? Were you happy when he held your hands around the fire, taking vows to stay together? Did your tears tell our incomplete story or were you happy for a new beginning?
Does he kiss you on the forehead to make your day or do you still miss our morning hug? Does he prepare morning tea for you or do you still miss my breakfast in bed?
Is he a good boy, who puts the things in proper place or just messes with things like me? Does he bite your fingers when you feed him with your hand or make faces when you add extra salt in? Does he like when you wear a western outfit or force you to wear only Indian attires? Does he go out with you and carry your shopping bags or only pay for it?
I want to know, is he able to handle your mood swings or gets irritated easily? Does he like to move his hands between your silky hair or find it boring? Does he pamper you during menstruation period or feel bothered? Does he make ugly faces in your selfies or give perfect pose? Does he put your mobile on charging when you play late night games or just leave it with you?
Does his love and care make you happy or you miss my care? Do you enjoy his car rides or miss my bike rides? Have you really fallen in love with him or still have feelings for me?
Who am I for you- a sweet memory or the worst nightmare? Honestly, it doesn’t matter, whatever I am to you. You are still the same for me. The one, whom I loved with all my heart and will always love till the last breath. Maybe we were never meant to be together yet the days we have spent together hold the greatest memories.
Heartiest congratulations on your new life.
Don’t worry, I am happy in my life. My family is there to shower their love and never- ending blessings.

  5. दर्द,कसक भरी भावनाओं को शब्दों में बेहतरीन ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया है।
    मैं नही जानता ये हकीकत है या फ़साना,
    मगर जो भी है दिल से निकली है।
    शायद इतना प्यार करनेवाला उसको मिल ही नही सकता जिसे उसने स्क्रैप समशने की भूल की।

  9. यह एक दिल से निकली आवाज है……जिसमें आपके दिल का दर्द छुपा हुआ है और उनके प्रति आपके अटूट प्रेम का भाव भी सुद्रढ़ अंकित है..
    जब किसी के प्रति इंतजार की घड़ी लंबी हो तो दुख होता है दिल को
    और जवाब में खामोशी के सिवाय ना आये कुछ तो दर्द होता है दिल को।
    सच में आपकी ये पोस्ट दिल को भेद गयी और दर्द का एक आँसू आँखों में दे गयी..!

  11. Beautifully written– this puts words to questions I think every broken heart asks, whether we admit it or not. It’s remarkable how one person can touch our life in a relatively short amount of time and leave us forever changed, hopefully for better.

Meety meety mankho chuthi silsilein… khatti khatti bathein mankho pigalaney valley lamhein… zindhagikhi honi… anhoniyoenkho chuthi huyi fariyaadh bari sadmein… nindh key sapnoen khi galiyoen sey lekhar… duniyawaloenkhi nazariya aur ravayya tak… tammam dil khi jaroenkho tak… ishaq khi madhbari… mitasbari… mehekhbari mannathoen khi ashavoensey bhari jadu khi bhundhoen khi jedi hi… dherey sey dil mein sama jathi hi… har dadkhan khi sath uber athi hi nayasa fariyaadh kha phool ban kar…
